Happy Children's Day!

Dear class,

It's been close to a year now and you are setting out for the test of your life. On this special day that truly belongs to you, I just wish to say that you have been great. We had good times, bad times but what makes our memories worth keeping are these special moments. Thank you...for walking through this year with me. For all the joy (and tears) that you have brought, I do treasure every one of you.

Here's a poem I'll like to share with you. It says of the wish I have for every one of you.

Promise Yourself

Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can
disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to
every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel like there is
something in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your
optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best,
and expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others
as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on the
greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give
every living person you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself
that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, and too
strong for fear, and to happy to permit the
presence of trouble.

Loving you,
Miss Elise Yu

Compo Activity Follow-up: Final Revised Copies

Dear class,

The task for today:

1) Download the file which the other pair/trio has edited.
2) Read what another pair/trio has edited for you, as well as their comments.
3) Revise/Edit your work. This will be the final copy which I will be assessing.
4) Click here to upload the final revised copy of your pair/trio's work.
The folder is Pair Revised Copies.
Remember to save the file name as Grp Members' names(Final revised copy).

Time limit: maximum of 10-15 minutes

I am eagerly anticipating the best copy - most improved and expressive story, as well as grammatically correct work.

Have fun!

Cheers,
Miss Elise Yu
